Jan is opening Longhorn Butchery at The New National Hotel in Parow this September. Alongside premium meats and traditional cuts, we'll be making our own biltong, droëwors and wors in-house, plus fresh bakery items, all under one roof.

Longhorn Butchery is a new premium butchery opening at The New National Hotel in Parow, Cape Town, in September 2026. We're renting our own space at the hotel, independent and focused on one thing: bringing genuine quality, traditional cuts, homemade biltong, droëwors and wors, and fresh bakery to the neighbourhood.

Do you deliver?
We won't have a full time delivery service. However, once we're open, please give us a call and we'll try to arrange a delivery for you. We understand that sometimes people can't make it to the shop, and if that's the case we'll do everything in our power to assist you. Please call or WhatsApp to find out more.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We'll accept all major credit cards in store such as Visa and Mastercard, though unfortunately we won't be able to accept American Express. We'll also of course accept cash payments.
What is the best way to order?
Once we're open, you'll be able to order in store or via WhatsApp on 076 812 2992. In the meantime, you can reach us through our contact page or by phone with any questions.
Is your meat fresh?
At Longhorn Butchery all our products will be 100% fresh. We won't freeze any of our meat, ensuring you get the best. All meat products can also be vacuum packed to seal in their freshness until you're ready to consume them. All our pies and pastries will be made fresh in store every morning.
